Who We Are

Built for
Nagaland.

Built by people who love the game and believe in Nagaland — a young club with proof already on the board: trophies won, players moving up, and a pathway that works.

Football is more than a result. It builds discipline, character and belonging.

NUSC is a football club founded in 2024 by local leaders, sportspeople and supporters who wanted to give young footballers a real place to play, compete and be seen.

We are still a young club — but we already have proof. Trophies won. Players moving up. A pathway that works.

The plan from here is bigger than any single match: build a football club Nagaland is proud of, and keep opening doors for the next player.

Our Journey

Built on Results.
Driven by Progress.

NUSC’s journey is defined by competitive milestones, silverware and players advancing to new opportunities. As a national-level IFL club, NUSC represents Nagaland in a wider football landscape while continuing to create pathways for players from the state.

2024

Establishing the Club

NUSC entered competitive football with a clear ambition: build a competitive club for Nagaland and create meaningful opportunities for its footballers. The club made its debut in the inaugural Nagaland Super League, finishing third and establishing its presence in the competition.

2025

A Season of Silverware

NUSC captured the NSF Martyrs’ Memorial Trophy, winning the 25th Anniversary Edition with a 3–1 victory over Chedema VYO at Indira Gandhi Stadium, Kohima. The season also brought recognition at the Dr T. Ao Trophy, representation across district and state-level football, and opportunities for players to enter professional environments.

Beyond the Club

Progress Through Football

NUSC players progressed to clubs including Calicut FC and Mawlai SC, earned selection for Nagaland’s Santosh Trophy squad and secured opportunities through the NSL U-20 scholarship programme at the Inspire Institute of Sport.

These milestones reflect the club’s wider ambition: turn competitive performance into opportunities for players to advance.
